Hello Everyone!

Hi everyone and welcome to DIY Crafts by Kay.

I will be posting every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with maybe a couple of other scattered days.

For my first post I wanted to do something special:

Upcycling Old Shirts

You probably have more then one old baggy t shirt laying around wasting space, right? Instead of throwing it away, make something new of it.

No Sew Pillow
If it has a picture or words of some sort on it, cut a square in it, through both sides. No sleeve left and no collar. Move the scraps out of the way. Cut tiny little strips throughout the whole square. Tie these tiny little strips together on three sides. You can either a) stuff it with stuffing or b) put another small pillow inside of it.

Nifty Bag
Cut the sleeves of a selected t shirt. Turn the shirt inside out. You can either a) tie the bottom together with an elastic or b) hot glue it together. Flip it right side out.

Add a Fringe
DIY Bleached Fringe Tank Top:

For this look, you can use a tank top or cut the sleeves off a t-shirt. Once you've decided, you can choose to leave the straps as they are or cut the backs of them off so you can tie the two straps together. Then you should cut strips at the bottom and tie one to the one directly next to it, not across or it will tie the shirt together.

Stay tuned for more crafts like these ones!
